Oyvind Waernes is a dedicated advocate and compassionate lightworker, leveraging his personal experiences to support others through their healing journeys. With a background that includes ten years of enduring covert abuse within his marriage, Oyvind has personally faced and risen above the challenges of gaslighting, triangulation, projection, belittling, and shaming. This tumultuous period in his life, coupled with the subsequent healing and personal growth, has become the foundation of his mission to help others.
As the founder of the “Light Worker” community and app, Oyvind aims to raise awareness about trauma and abuse in relationships, particularly focusing on how ex-spouses can misuse the divorce system to inflict mental harm. The app is designed to facilitate healing by maintaining secure, documented communication and providing resources like therapy and expert guidance on critical issues such as narcissism, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and family laws. It also offers advice on navigating the dating world and avoiding toxic relationships.
Oyvind’s passion extends beyond app development; he wishes to see people shine their inner lights and stand tall against dark times. His goal is to be a beacon of hope, providing guidance and support to individuals feeling lost, anxious, or alienated. He believes in fostering relationships built on mutual respect, understanding, and love. In addition to his advocacy work, Oyvind enjoys a variety of interests, including music, guitar playing, photography, writing, self-care, and aviation—he is instrument rated on multi engine aircrafts. He also loves hiking and exploring, embodying the spirit of a true Viking Dad. His ultimate aspiration is to continue helping others full-time, creating solutions to ease their lives and guiding them to find hope and reignite their inner spark during tough times.
